At Montblanc Consulting we developed a new maintenance strategy for a mining company with a production plant unique in its kind worldwide, facing stagnated disponibility and productivity, employee demotivation and a recent change of Plant Manager. Our work included the adequacy of internal maintenance processes, developing work in programming and on site to improve plant shutdowns, re-organization and training of operators and maintainers, and on-site support during maintenance. Results: 290 fewer hours in major maintenance, US$ 4 million in annual savings and 66% reduction in maintenance time.
